When you queue a batch or mother for destruction, you'll need to select the waste type. Add waste types to set up the options that can be selected.

Note: Destruction Method is also required information when destroying. Be sure to set those up too!

Managing Waste Types

Go to Administration > Waste Types. The page lists the waste types that have been set up in your site.

To add a new one:

Click the + button in the top green bar.

To modify an existing one:

Click on it in the list to expand it, then click EDIT.

A modal appears. Add/edit the destruction method with these properties:

• Name - The name of the waste type as it will appear throughout your site.
• Description - Any notes about the waste type.

Click SAVE when you're done.
