Release Notes - 3.4.1.2

Last updated on Oct 16, 2026

Meet GrowerIQ 3.4.1.2! 🚀

This release brings Receive Inventory to the mobile scanner and opens Send to Processor to every batch with clear end-type rules, alongside targeted fixes for Health Canada reporting, SKU visibility and counts, and lot creation.

✨ Receive Inventory From the Scanner

Receiving a delivery happens at the loading dock, not at a desk. Until now, that meant noting the details on paper and entering them on the web app later. You can now record received inventory directly in the GrowerIQ Scanner app, with the same fields, validation and signatures as the web.

📝 How It Works:

  1. Grant access: in Administration > User Roles, open the role, switch to the Mobile Scanner tab and enable the Receive Inventory action. Admin users already have access to all scanner views and actions.

  2. Log in to the scanner app and tap Receive Inventory on the home screen.

  3. Enter the item details exactly as you would on the web: variety, package type and SKU, quantity or net weight, account, source lot, purchase order and potency. Every dropdown shows the complete list, including sites with hundreds of varieties, vendors or users.

  4. Complete the Weighed By and Checked By signatures and submit.

The new inventory appears immediately in both the web app and the scanner, with the receiving activity recorded in the activity log, exactly as if it had been entered on the web.

Note: Received inventory follows your existing approval process. Users with the Approve action for Received Inventory can sign off directly from the scanner, or approval can be completed from the Received Inventory page on the web. This feature requires GrowerIQ Scanner v1.4.2 or later.

✨ Send to Processor on Any Batch, With Clear End Types

Sending material out for processing used to be limited to batches in the Processing stage, and the expected return material was optional, so what came back did not always line up with the batch plan. This release opens the action up and makes the round trip fully traceable.

  • Send from any stage: Send to Processor is now available on any batch holding quantity, whatever its stage or end type. A batch already out at a processor must be received back first.

  • Expected End Type is required: The optional field and its "None" choice are gone. The dropdown lists only the end types the material can legitimately come back as: the same end type, any end type further along the standard chain (wet to dry to cured, and so on), or any custom end type. Material can never come back as an earlier end type, and the server enforces the same rule.

  • Processing cost is optional: Leave it blank when the cost is not yet known.

  • Receive with confidence: When receiving from the processor, the End Type defaults to what you expected, and you can choose a different one if that is what came back. The quantity field shows the unit for the selected end type. Returned material lands in the Planning stage, followed by QA, with the batch plan reset to what was actually received. Advance Stage is now available after receiving, even when the received end type differs from the expected one.

  • Traceability: The Batches grid has a new Expected End Type column beside Processor Status. Once material is back, the batch page shows Received from Processor with the CRM account and ID, and the Send and Receive activities in the activity log and Master Batch Record now name the processor's CRM account.

Note: Two behaviours changed on purpose: Expected End Type must now be selected when sending, and material received from a processor now lands in Planning rather than the stage it was sent from.

💡 Also in This Release

  • SKUs page loads again, with grouping: The SKUs grid could go blank after grouping by SKU type or variety, and stayed blank on every reload because the broken layout was saved. The grid now renders reliably and grouping works. Grids now offer right-click Reset Filters & Sorts and Reset Grid Layout options, so you can recover a view yourself.

  • Health Canada Report: plant destruction no longer inflates Fresh Cannabis: Plant material queued for destruction, along with pruning waste and ungerminated seeds, was being counted under Unpackaged Fresh Cannabis, which triggered the "Unpackaged Fresh Cannabis calculation is incorrect" message. Plants now stay under Whole Cannabis Plants until destroyed and the section reconciles cleanly. Regenerating an earlier report produces the corrected figures.

  • SKU current inventory counts stay accurate: Shipping an order could reduce a SKU's current inventory twice, and shipping the same shipment twice through a double-click reduced it again, so counts drifted low or negative over time. Inventory now decrements exactly once per shipped quantity, and a shipment that has already shipped cannot be shipped a second time.

  • Lot creation with the exact remaining balance: Transferring the full remaining quantity of a batch or received inventory into a new lot could fail partway for many fractional weights, creating a lot that never appeared in the Lots overview. Exact-balance transfers and lot splits now complete in full.

  • Sanitation activities with a newly uploaded document: Logging a sanitation activity or activity log while attaching a new document failed with an error, even though the document itself was uploaded. Both now accept a newly uploaded document on the first try. Documents uploaded on a later date than the activity are still rejected, as before.

  • Edit Package Run Name dialog: The dialog showed Lot Item wording, and closing it could pop open the Edit Package Run or Recycle dialogs. It now shows the correct Package Run labels and closes cleanly.
