When users destroy an entity such as a batch, they are required to select the destruction method. Create destruction methods to set up the options they can select.

Note: Waste Type is also required information when destroying. Be sure to set those up too!

Managing Destruction Methods

Go to Administration > Destruction Methods. The page lists the destruction methods that have been set up in your site.

To add a new one:

Click the + button in the top green bar.

To modify an existing one:

Click on it in the list to expand it, then click EDIT.

A modal appears. Add/edit the destruction method with these properties:

• Name - The name of the destruction method as it will appear throughout your site.
• Description - Any notes about the destruction method.

Click SAVE when you're done.
