Fixing Delayed or Duplicate Printing

Problem

If you notice a significant delay when trying to print your labels, or if the printer produces unwanted duplicates, it is likely due to a recent Google Chrome update that blocks unencrypted traffic on HTTPS sites like GrowerIQ to a device on a local network (LAN).

Solution

We are working to find ways to overcome this problem, but in the meantime, here is a workaround:

Option 1: Use Microsoft Edge

Open the same page in Microsoft Edge browser instead of Google Chrome. Edge doesn't have the same restrictions.

Option 2: Chrome Flag Override

  1. Open Chrome and go to: chrome://flags/#block-insecure-private-network-requests
  2. Set the flag to Disabled
  3. Restart Chrome

Note: This workaround may need to be reapplied after Chrome updates.
