You can create samples for QA testing when working with a lot, production lot, or plant. Once a sample is created, it appears on the Samples page. You can indicate when it is sent to the laboratory, then record the test results. These results are then visible on the lot/production lot/plant.

Creating a Sample

To create a sample:

1. Navigate to the lot, production lot, or plant you want to sample
2. Click the Create Sample button
3. Fill in the required fields:
   • Sample name
   • Sample type
   • Quantity
4. Click Save

The sample will now appear in your Samples list.

Sending to Lab

Once a sample is created:

1. Go to QA > Samples
2. Find your sample in the list
3. Click Send to Lab
4. Enter the lab information and tracking details
5. Save the shipment

Recording Results

When results come back from the lab:

1. Open the sample record
2. Click Record Results
3. Enter the test results for each test type
4. Save the results

The results will now be visible on the original lot/production lot/plant record.
